“Absolute Power 2024 FCBD Special Edition #1” By Mark Waid & Mikel Janín Review

The prelude to the biggest DC Comics event of 2024 is here! It’s a story 30 years in the making… and in this special Free Comic Book Day tale, the final domino to fall in an epic scheme comes tumbling down, and the DC Universe will never be the same. More details coming soon!

I gotta admit that the plot of this comic book is very very interesting, tis book isn’t as much about the DC Comics superhero as much as it is about Amanda Waller and all the shady things and experiments she been doing. Which for me personally was very interesting because I always thought that Amanda Waller was one of the most underrated characters from the DC Comics Universe.

The plot in this comic book is engaging, interesting, enjoyable and thought-provoking because this comic book talks about moral complexities of power and responsibility.

The dialogue in this comic book is very good because it the dialogues used in this comic book felt very realistic and something I would use in real life. Which in a way got me to give this comic book some extra points for.

The characters here are very good, because they have in a way a lot of depth and personality to them which can be seen through the drawings and dialogues of this comic book.

The narrative which is being used in this comic book has a sense of urgency and drama to it which I really liked because it kept me sitting at the edge of my sit during the entire read of this comic book.

I Give This Book 5 / 5
