
10-Page Preview! Trout is the story of a 9-year-old boy and the monster sent to protect him. It centers on a virus created to eradicate the monster gene, and has the power to turn man to monster and monster to man. Under attack, the scientist who created this Final Solution injects it into his son in order to hide it. Now, everyone wants it and will do anything to get their hands on it.
Let me start this review by saying that this one is just a preview for the entire comic book. And I read it because I wanted to see if the full comic book was worth the money and time I would spend on it. And I’m gonna give you the answer for that at the end of this review.
This preview gives us a very good and compelling storyline which is centered around a unique blend of fantasy and adventure. Which I personally liked a lot because I found it to be very intriguing and interesting.
The concept in this preview gives us in a way a fresh and engaging concept which really worked a lot for me to get me interested in it and get me hooked to this preview.
The narrative of this preview is well-paced. And the narrative does effectively set the stage for what promises to be an exciting journey.
The characters in this preview have a lot of personality and depth to them which makes them really stand out and be memorable.
The main character in this preview stands out with him having a distinct voice and motivation. Which really made me like him a lot.
This one is only preview which means that it only scratches the surface. But at the same time it lays a solid foundation for further character development in full version of this comic book.
The artwork is very good, because it brings the fantastical elements to life with vibrant and detailed illustrations. At the same time the visuals complement the story beautifully, enhancing the overall atmosphere and immersing readers in the world which this preview tries to paint.
But at the same time the storyline of this preview have some issues here and there. Because at times it feels like the scenes we get seem like they belong together and to be a coherent story.
This preview gives us the themes of exploration and self-discovery which I found to be very interesting. Because the themes offer us both entertainment and depth which the full version of this comic book. The themes of this preview offer us a glimpse of the well-executed themes which also have a rich layer which the full version of this comic book has.
So will buy and read the full version of this comic book ? Yes I will. It might take some time for me to actually read the full version of this comic book because I have been way too optimistic when creating my TBR list for this year and I dont know if I get the time to read the full version of this comic book this year. But I will read the full version of this comic book at some point in time.
