Unfortunately, Sylvia is going to have to get used to all of these things.
Let me start this review by saying that this one is just a preview for the entire comic book. And I read it because I wanted to see if the full comic book was worth the money and time I would spend on it. And im gonna give you the answer for that at the end of this review.
This preview introduces us to a fascinating narrative centered on a girl discovering she is one of 100 genetically engineered siblings. Which I found to be very interesting and unique to say at least. Which really made me give this preview some extra points for.
The concept of this preview feels pretty fresh and intriguing because it is blending elements of science fiction and mystery that immediately captured my attention and made me very interesting into being more of this comic book.
The storyline in this preview is pretty well-paced, providing a strong foundation for full version of this comic book which I will easily read at some point in the future.
The main character in this preview has a lot of personality to her but at the same time she has a lot of depth and relatability which is showcasing a blend of vulnerability and strength to her. Which really made me like her a lot.
The main character’s journey in this preview was very compelling because it involves a lot of self-discovery and growth to the main character.
The artwork in this preview complements the narrative with clean and expressive illustrations which really made me give this preview some extra points for doing.
The visuals in this preview effectively convey the emotional and action-packed elements of the story, enhancing the overall experience readers get from reading this preview in my opinion.
This preview gives us the themes of identity, belonging, and the ethics of genetic engineering which are amazing woven throughout this preview which add layers of depth to the narrative of this preview.
These themes are very well explored as well as they are providing both entertainment and thought-provoking storyline to this preview.
So will buy and read the full version of this comic book ? Yes I will. It might take some time for me to actually read the full version of this comic book because I have been way too optimistic when creating my TBR list for this year and I don’t know if I get the time to read the full version of this comic book this year. But I will read the full version of this comic book at some point in time.
