“Snake Oil” By Jay Lang Review

Alone in Canada after her parents retire to Scotland, Sophie Grant is content to finish her degree without partaking in the rowdy university lifestyle. So it seems like Fate when at the single party her roommate Tessa forces her to attend, she meets the charming and chivalrous Brandon Chase. In a whirlwind, Sophie finds herself smitten and living with the man of her dreams.

After reading this book I can’t understand why this book isn’t talk about and hyped. To be fully honest this book deserves to be hyped and talked about much more than all of Colleen Hoover’s Books.

When I finished the book I just can’t believe why so few people have read this book. Because this book is so much better than majority of the popular books.

This book starts with a college girl falling in love with an slightly older guy. But it quickly gets the eerie feeling but you can’t place the finger to what’s wrong.

The plot here is amazing. From the very first page of this book you just can’t stop reading this book. This book starts very innocent but the more you read, the more you start suspecting that something will happen.

The characters in this book are very good. They feel like real human beings. Which I personally love when it happens in a book. Because then the characters are more relatable.

The main character in this book, is a sweet college student. And the guy she falls in love with is a manipulative liar and a psychopath. But we don’t see it until the big climax of this book.

The writing style here is very incredible. It felt like reading the author knew what words to use to really grab your attention.

The big climax of this book, is incredible. Because it involved a big twist and there is a lot of things happening.

I Give This Book 5 / 5
