“Unravel Me” By Tahereh Mafi Review

It should have taken Juliette a single touch to kill Warner. But his mysterious immunity to her deadly power has left her shaken, wondering why her ultimate defense mechanism failed against the person she most needs protection from.

I need to be honest here and say that this series is getting better and better with each book.

This book was much better from the first book in this series, because there is much more action in it, we get to know the characters much better and really the whole plot have really improved from the first book. Because of this increased in the series because of this book, Im having huge expectations for the rest of this series.

Even thou this book has around 460 pages (depending on which edition you get), I read it one day because I just couldn’t pull myself away from this book. Which really shows how interesting, enjoyable and unique this book is and hopefully as the rest of this series is.

The plot in this book is very interesting and it really sucks you into it and doesn’t let you go until the very end. And even when you finish the book you want to pick the next book in this series straight away. Which really shows how good of an author Tahereh Mafi is, and her talent for creating good plots to keep readers engaged and reading her books.

The characters in this book (and series) are super enjoyable and interesting. Because there are sop much personality and depth in them. Each character in this book is very unique and have something which makes us really really like them.

When I review the first book in this series I said that I found Juliette to be really annoying however this book resolves this problem. Because in this book Juliette is not annoying at all, and she became the character which I like the most in this book series so far at least.

However still I have the same problem with her which I had in the first book. Which is that she does nothing and expects everyone to do things for her, even if it is obvious that she can also start doing things and not get annoyed at other character for doing something or not doing something. I really hope that in the rest of this series, it changes.

The writing style here is amazing, its simple and easy even thou there is a lot of happening both action and drama. And the writing style actually makes the drama survivable for me, even thou I normally hate like love triangles in books.

The love triangle in this book isn’t as bad as I had expected it to be, which really made me give this book and the series as a whole some extra points. Because the love triangle here is actually interesting in the aspect of who Juliette will choice in the end between Adam and Warner. (I’m personally rooting for Warner, let me know in the comments who you are rooting for in this love triangle).

I Give This Book 4 / 5
