“Fracture Me” By Tahereh Mafi Review

As Omega Point prepares to launch an all-out assault on The Reestablishment soldiers stationed in Sector 45, Adam’s focus couldn’t be further from the upcoming battle. He’s reeling from his breakup with Juliette, scared for his best friend’s life, and as concerned as ever for his brother James’s safety. And just as Adam begins to wonder if this life is really for him, the alarms sound. It’s time for war.

This book is written from Adam’s perspective. And I need to admit that this book was less fan than the book written from Warner’s perspective. But thats has to do me not liking Adam as much as I like Warner.

After reading this book, I need to say that this book was more about Adam reassuring himself that he can be the hero which Juliette and his little brother needs  than anything else.

Throughout this whole book Adam tries to be the hero for everyone, but still everything goes to shit at the end of this book, which really shows how bad of a hero Adam is.

But still a part of me loved this book a fair share, because we get to know Adam much more and we get to know his thoughts and emotions. But still some of his thoughts about Juliette aren’t the most valiant. Because he more or less wants to control Juliette in a way, always telling her what she should do like choosing him over Warner even do he treats Juliette as shit at times.

There are some additional action we get to know when Juliette is taken by Warner’s father from the battlefield. And we get to see those action going down through Adam’s perspective which is okay for the most part. But if you want me to pick a preferable perspective then I would go with Juliette’s and Warner’s perspectives.

The writing style here is as good as in the previous books in the series, which of course means that the author seems to know what words to use, to fully grab your attention and to not let it go until you finish the book.

I Give This Book 4 / 5
