Is the good deed worth it if it remains a secret? It is indeed meaningful and significant both for the one who reaches out a helping hand and for the one who takes it.

Once upon a time there were two large islands off the coast of Zealand in Vänö and Glänö. But a very long time ago, during a stormy night, Vänö was swallowed by the waves. In front of a factory were piles and piles of rags and, among these rags, a Danish rag and a Norwegian rag found themselves side-by-side. They each extolled their country and their language while criticising the country and language of the other… Maybe they would have acted differently if they had known the destiny that awaited them!
