“The Dirt: Confessions of the World’s Most Notorious Rock Band” By Neil Strauss & Vince Neil & Nikki Sixx & Mick Mars & Tommy Lee Review

Whiskey and porn stars, hot reds and car crashes, black leather and high heels, overdoses and death. This is the life of Mötley Crüe, the heaviest drinking, hardest fighting, most oversexed and arrogant band in the world. Their unbelievable exploits are the stuff of rock ‘n’ roll legend. They nailed the hottest chicks, started the bloodiest fights, partied with the biggest drug dealers, and got to know the inside of every jail cell from California to Japan. They have dedicated an entire career to living life to its extreme, from the greatest fantasies to the darkest tragedies. Tommy married two international sex symbols; Vince killed a man and lost a daughter to cancer; Nikki overdosed, rose from the dead, and then OD’d again the next day; and Mick shot a woman and tried to hang his own brother. But that’s just the beginning.

Ive been dying to read this book for a long time. Because I am a pretty big fan of Motley Crue and wanted to read this book. And finally I did.

The writing style in this book is amazing. Neil Strauss really did a good job at putting together a very good written book about Motley Crue.

This book gives us the insider story of Motley Crue which the newspapers and news report overlooks. And this book puts this insider story of Motley Crue in a very relatable way even thou most people reading this book aren’t world famous rock starts.

This book has 4 perspectives from Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars and Tommy Lee. Which gives this book access to their the stories of each of the member of Motley Crue. And all of the stories we get in this book shows us that all of the members in Motley Crue had some shit happening to them. Which really makes you realize that each member of Motley Crue is just like then rest of the us and not just the big musicians which not bad happens to.

This book also talks about how really fucked up it was being a rock star in the 80s and  90s. And the music records aspect of being a musician in the 80s and 90s.

If you are a Motley Crue fan, rock’n roll fan or music fan in general I believe that you will like this book a lot.

“Star Wars: Tales of Kenobi” By Alan Dean Foster & John Jackson Miller Review

This book is a collection of two books about Obi-Wan, I already reviewed one of the books included in this collection, and the review for the second book in this collection will be published soon on this website. But until then lets talk about this book.

But since I already written the reviews for both of the books included in this book, I’m gonna talk about this book as a whole and make some short and quick comments of each of those 2 books included in this book.

Both of the books included in this book were pretty decent. I liked the first book in this book named “The Approaching Storm” better than the second book named “Kenobi”. But overall I think that both of them are pretty decent and a fun read if you are already deep into the Star Wars book universe. But if you are just starting this journey than maybe wait with this book or the two books included in this book for a while until you have already started that journey. Since after reading this one I gotta admit that both of those book which are included in this book aren’t the best starting point into the Star Wars book universe.

But at the same time I need to say that in a way this book (or at least the two books included in this book) are a must read for Star Wars book readers since it expends the Star Wars universe in a way. It gives us action we haven’t seen before, in the first book we get a Jedi knight and her Palawan which we don’t get in the movies (or at least I don’t remember them from the movies) and in the second book we get to learn more about what Obi-Wan was doing in the desert of Tatooine right after the events of the Episode 3.

And I need to admit that this book is very stunning, both the cover of it and the inside of it. Its a collector’s edition and I gotta admit that those collector’s edition books are my great weakness when it comes to how books look.

“Royal Assassin” By Robin Hobb Review

Fitz has survived his first hazardous mission as king’s assassin, but is left little more than a cripple. Battered and bitter, he vows to abandon his oath to King Shrewd, remaining in the distant mountains. But love and events of terrible urgency draw him back to the court at Buckkeep, and into the deadly intrigues of the royal family. Renewing their vicious attacks on the coast, the Red-Ship Raiders leave burned-out villages and demented victims in their wake. The kingdom is also under assault from within, as treachery threatens the throne of the ailing king. In this time of great danger, the fate of the kingdom may rest in Fitz’s hands—and his role in its salvation may require the ultimate sacrifice.

I gotta admit that this second book in the “The Farseer Trilogy” is much better than the first book.

This book builds on the foundations we get in the first book in this trilogy. And because of this book expands the trilogy in a way makes this book so much more fun than the first book.

The plot in this book is very good and very interesting. I got sucked into this book so much that I didn’t notice when I finished this book. And if you have read some of my reviews before reading this one, you will know that I love when I get sucked into a book so much and I give some extra points for that.

This book and this trilogy is easily one of the best fantasy series I’ve read so far. For me personally this series so far is very close to being as amazing for me as the “A song of ice and fire” series and “The Witcher” series.

The characters in this book are so amazing. There is a lot of character development happening if you compare the characters in this book to who they were at the beginning of the first book in this trilogy.

The characters in this book feel like real human beings because they have so much depth to them and each of the characters have their own unique personalities. And you find yourself identifying with them in a way. Which really makes me give this book some extra points.

The only less good thing in this book for me personally. Is that at times the plots drags and is expands on situations which could have been cut shorter in a way.

The ending of this book is very good, it leaves us at a cliffhanger yes. But this only adds more to this trilogy because it makes you want to grab immediately the third book in this trilogy to see what happens next.

The ending of this book is very satisfying and it really makes you proud in a way that you were able to finish this bad boy of a book.

The writing style in this book is very amazing because it is like the author know what words to use to completely grab your attention and to not let it go until the very end of this book.

“The Meek One” By Fyodor Dostoevsky Review

‘I could see that she was still terribly afraid, but I didn’t soften anything; instead, seeing that she was afraid I deliberately intensified it.’ In this short story, Dostoyevsky masterfully depicts desperation, greed, manipulation and suicide.

I gotta say that this book is easily my favorite book written by Fyodor Dostoevsky I’ve read so far at least. The biggest aspected which made me like this book is that this book makes you really think about the topics this book talks about.

The characters in this book are few yes. But the once we get in this book are positively complicated which for me only added to the aspect of me liking them more. Because they felt like real human beings rather than fictional characters.

The plot in this book gives you a lot of questions but it doesn’t give you conclusive answers for those questions. For me personally made this book so much better and so much more fun in a way.

This book is very short so it doesn’t give me a lot to talk about, since its only 57 pages long or at least my copy of this book is that long.

The writing style in this book is meh to be honest. Ive read some of Fyodor Dostoevsky books in the past so I k ow that he can normally have much better writing style than he had in this book.

“FCBD 2024: Ultimate Universe/Spider-Man #1” By Zeb Wells & Juan Frigeri & Deniz Camp Review

Just weeks ahead of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #50, get the first taste of THE RETURN OF THE GOBLIN! Plus, prepare for the next evolutionary step of the Ultimate Universe as a powerful new hero debuts! But it doesn’t end there! Oh no, there are some surprises up our sleeve on this one!

In this comic book we get two plots, one following the ultimate universe timeline and the other following spider-man.

I gotta admit that this comic book was very good, and interesting. If I have to choose the better story between the two stories we get in this comic book then I have to go with the ultimate universe story.

I gotta admit that ive noticed that this comic book is more aided at the newcomers to comic books and the MCU, since it brings new element into it which the kids and young adults will find interesting and start their journey into the MCU. But as a long term somehow fan of the MCU I gotta say that this book is also a very good read for a fan who has been around MCU for a few years now.

The narrative in this book is pretty good, but there a lot of times in the spider-man part where the narrative goes a little bit down the hill.

I have some few problems with the spider-man part of this comic book, but when it comes to the ultimate universe part I think it is a 5 out of 5 reading. Because the  storyline if it draws readers into the complexities of the entire ultimate universe timeline of MCU. At the same time it gives us a fresh air in a way into the OG characters like Iron Man and captain America.

The artwork of this entire comic book is very vibrant and dynamic. And I really like it a lot. And the artwork plays very well with the fast pace of the entire comic book, which I really gave this book some extra point for.

“The Wormworld Saga Free Comic Book Day 2018” By Daniel Lieske Review

Enter the Wormworld, at the very beginning. A mysterious painting. A wooden sword. A hidden world. A time before conflict. Two friends in search of magic and adventure. This is how the saga begins. This exciting all-new prequel to Daniel Lieske’s hugely popular webcomic The Wormworld Saga will entice new fans in time for the series’ first US print release in May 2018, and tantalize existing readers with hints at secrets yet to be revealed.

I gotta admit that I didn’t have any expectations or hopes for this comic book before reading it. But now after I have read it, I need to admit that it was very good and at the same time very fun to read. But of course (as always) I will explain everything in this review, and hopefully you will stick around to read the entire review for this comic book.

This comic book as I’ve said above surprised me a lot and one of the reasons why it had surprised me a lot is how fun it was to read this comic book. Before getting into this book I thought that this one will be one of those only meant for children comic books and if read by an adult it would turn into being very boring and uninteresting. But now that I read it, I need to say that this comic books was very interesting and fun to read.

The plot in this comic book is very unique and at the same time engaging and interesting to read. The plot here is about a paintings, painted by the father of the main character. The paintings have a special ability to take you to different words or time periods which I found very interesting and fun at the same time.

The characters in this comic book were very likable and relatable in a way, which of course made me to give this comic book extra points for doing that. We didn’t learn a lot about the characters in this comic book, but they were very good made and we could easily see that they had a lot of personality and depth to them even thou we don’t get to know a lot about them, sometimes you don’t have to give your characters a lot of backstory for the readers to find the characters to be interesting and fun.

The artwork in this comic book was very beautiful and stunning which really shows us as the readers how much time and effort the artist out into this comic book. Which I appreciate a lot and have given this comic book extra points for giving us the beautiful artwork.

“Unruly Human Hearts” By Barbara Southard Review

Elizabeth Tilton, a devout housewife, shares liberal ideals with her husband, Theodore Tilton, and their pastor and close friend Reverend Henry Ward Beecher, both influential reformers of the Reconstruction Era who promote suffrage for women and former slaves and advocate for the spiritual power of love rather than Calvinistic retribution.

I got a PDF version pre-release to read and review it. To be very honest I had very little expectations for this book but after reading it I need to say that this book is very good.

Its important to mention that this book is based of a true story, of a woman named Elizabeth Tilton.

This book explores the Henry Ward Beecher scandal through the eyes of Elizabeth Tilton. I know it sounds not very interesting but when you start reading this book you realized that it is actually interesting and enjoyable. This book talks about things like “free love” in 19th century America and sexual revolutions of women in 19th century America.

This book follows 2 perspectives throughout this book. The major perspective in this book is the main character Elizabeth Tilton during the beginning of 1866. And the second perspective is again Elizabeth but this time its at the end of her life in 1897.

The plot of this book is very good and very well written because it talks about joys, sorrows, frustrations and anger of the perfect soap opera and in 19th century America.

As I said above the plot and the entire book is very interesting and it really sucks you into the plot to the point where you don’t notice the time flying by while reading this book.

The written style of this book is very very good, but at the same time is very approbate with time this book is set in. Its like the author has a very unique skill to write a with the 19th America writing style but modernize it in a way which would be relevant for people reading this book in 2025 and behind.

The writing style is very engaging and really grabs your attention and doesn’t let it go until the very end of the book. Which I personally love when it happens because it helps the reader to get more immersed in the plot of the book.

In a way its hard to pin this book down to any specific category since its like historical drama but at the same time this book reads as psychological thriller. Which really impressed me.

“A Court of Thorns and Roses” By Sarah J. Maas Review

When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a terrifying creature arrives to demand retribution. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she knows about only from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not truly a beast, but one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled her world.

I am very surprised with this book. Because I was expecting to not like this book and DNF it along the way. Since I thought that this series was overhyped. But after having read this book I gotta say that I was wrong with my assumptions.

The plot in this book is very unique and very good at the same time. It drags you into the plot instantly and it doesn’t let you go until the very end of this book. I was very obsessed with this book while reading it and I just couldn’t force myself to stop reading this book because I was so deeply consumed by the plot.

The characters in this book are pure gold. They are so well written and so unique. Each of the characters in this book have their own unique personalities and something which sets them apart from the rest of the characters. And if you have read my previous reviews, you know that as long as the characters are good I wont mind a shitty plot. And this book has incredible characters and even better plot.

The writing style in this book is like the author knew what words to use to complete grab my attention and to not let it go until the very end of this book. This is my first book written by Sarah J Maas, and if she has so incredible writing style in her other books as she had in this one. She might easily overtake Stephen King as my favorite author and become my favorite author.

The ending leaves us at a pretty big cliffhanger, which is so unfair because I have to wait until my second book of this series arrives. Because I have ordered it right after I finished this book.

“A Brief History of Time” By Stephen Hawking Review

Told in language we all can understand, A Brief History of Time plunges into the exotic realms of black holes and quarks, of antimatter and “arrows of time,” of the big bang and a bigger God—where the possibilities are wondrous and unexpected. With exciting images and profound imagination, Stephen Hawking brings us closer to the ultimate secrets at the very heart of creation.

I gotta say that I love this book a lot since it is very very good and really I personally cant get enough of Stephen Hawking’s books. Because Stephen hawking was a very very good author and he had the ability to make very heavy and difficult topics seem easy and understandable which you can see in his books.

This book talks about all the latest discoveries that have shaken the scientific world and it makes it very easy and simple to understand even thou it is speaking about black holes, quantum mechanics, principle of uncertainty, general relativity and other pretty heavy stuff.

The writing style in this book is very good. It makes the whole book more interesting and much more simpler to understand when it talks about all the pretty heavy stuff which makes it to a book that everyone can read even thou it talks about black holes, general relativity and other science stuff.

I am a big fan of Stephen Hawking’s books so of course I needed to read this one. And after having read it am I love it and will recommend this book to anyone if I ever hear that someone says that things.

“Brief Answers to the Big Questions” By Stephen Hawking Review

Stephen Hawking was recognized as one of the greatest minds of our time and a figure of inspiration after defying his ALS diagnosis at age twenty-one. He is known for both his breakthroughs in theoretical physics as well as his ability to make complex concepts accessible for all, and was beloved for his mischievous sense of humor. At the time of his death, Hawking was working on a final project: a book compiling his answers to the “big” questions that he was so often posed–questions that ranged beyond his academic field.

I gotta say that I truly love Stephen Hawking’s books since they talk about really big and difficult topics but the way Stephen Hawking explains them makes them seem very easy like everyone can understand them and enjoy his books about the pretty heavy topics.

This book gives us scientific answers to questions as “Is there a God?”,  “Is there other intelligent life in the universe? “, “ Is time travel possible?” and “Will artificial intelligence outsmart humans?”. And I gotta say that this book is really interesting because it doesn’t give us Stephen Hawking’s thoughts but rather answer from the scientific point of view which I really really loved a lot.

The writing style in this book is very good because its very easy to read and it makes the heavy topics really easy to understand which made me give this book some extra points for doing that and it really made me love this book much more than I already did.

This book is very interesting and enjoyable. During my time reading this book I was complete clued to it and I just couldn’t put this book away because I wanted to keep reading this book.
