“Rule of Two” By Drew Karpyshyn Review

Now Darth Bane is ready to put his policy into action, and he thinks he has found the key element that will make his triumph complete: a student to train in the ways of the dark side. Though she is young, Zannah possesses an instinctive link to the dark side that rivals his own. With his guidance, she will become essential in his quest to destroy the Jedi and dominate the galaxy.

This book has to be easily the best star wars book I have read so far in my life. Which says a lot to me personally since I have read a lot of good star wars books in my time on this website and I gotta say that this one takes the cake as of now at least.

This book offers us the history of Darth Bane, Darth Bane trying and failing to create holocrons as well as Darth Bane training his apprentice who is a young female named Zannah who struggles with get easily attached to people and animals and not understanding Darth Bane’s plan on how Siths can rule galaxy. Which really made me give this book a lot of extra points for doing. Since this book portrays both Darth Bane and Zannah as real human being in the star wars universe who are struggling and trying to find their way to achieve their goals.

There is a lot of action in this book, and the pacing in this book is pretty fast too. There is a lot of things that happens in this book which means we as readers as never bored while reading this book because there is so much that is happening in this book which made me like this book even more than I already did.

This books is pretty dark since it has its fair share of violence and it has pretty dark tone and atmosphere which really made me like this book even more than I already did, because this book just perfectly portrays the dark side in star wars and it truly shows us how different the Siths are from Jedis.

The characters in this book are incredible, especially Darth Bane which is my all time favorite character from star wars and one which in my opinion is very underrated and under explored. This book had made me just love Darth Bane even more than I already did before this book. Because this book adds so much depth and personality to him that it made him feel like a real human being in a way.

When it comes to Zannah, she is also an incredible character. Because she has a lot of character debt to her and she has her own personality which made me immediately love her as a character. Because she struggles with her moral compass and easily getting attached to people and creatures of the star wars universe but at the same time she was to become a Sith Lord and hopefully one day kill Darth Bane and take his place as a Sith Lord. But at the same time she needs him to teach her about the dark side of the force. So she is in this constantly struggle with herself and trying to find out what she really wants.

The writing style in this book is incredible. Because it was like the author of this book knew exactly what words to use to completely grab my attention and not let it go until the very end of this book. Which made me give this book some extra points for doing that because I was completely hooked on this book from the very first page of it and I just couldn’t stop reading this book until the very end of this book.

At the same time the author of this book made me want to read his other star wars books because there is something about the way he writes star wars books that completely takes over my life and makes me clued to his books and I stop cant stop reading them like happened with this book “Revan” book which was also written by the same author.

“The Diary of a CEO: The 33 Laws of Business and Life” By Steven Bartlett Review

A galvanizing playbook for success from Steven Bartlett, one of the world’s most exciting entrepreneurs and the host of the No. 1 podcast The Diary of a CEO. At the very heart of all the success and failure I’ve been exposed to – both my own entrepreneurial journey and through the thousands of interviews I’ve conducted on my chart-topping podcast – are a set of principles that ensure excellence.

I need to admit here that I had pretty low expectations for this book, since before reading this book I thought it was one of those way to overhyped books. But now that I have read this book I gotta admit that this book is one of the better business / self help books I have read in my time.

This book gives us a lot of amazing fantastic information and strategy which I have learned a few things from, despite the fact that I have read and reviewed a handful of business / self-help books. Which really shows that this book doesn’t re-phrase the same stuff other business / self-help books do say which I have come across from a few times from in my time on this website.

The writing style of the book is very good, because its very clear from the writing style that the author of this book have put a lot of research and time into this book which only made me like this book more than I already did. But also the writing style in this book is very good because it was like the author of this book knew exactly what words to use to completely grab my attention and not let it go until the very end of this book.

The language of this book is very simple and easy to understand. Which makes this book a very good read for anyone no matter the age, educational level or background. I have come across some very heavy business books where they used a lot of masters degree in finance terms and strategies I had no idea about since I have no degree in business or finance. But this book is the completely opposite of that, which really made me give this book some extra points for doing.

I really liked the aspect of this book where this book doesn’t use the time to make pointless examples or waste time on stuff that didn’t matter which I have seen other business and self-help books do.

This book actually offers us a lot of value and good insight into becoming successful which really is a huge part of why I rating this book so high as I did. Because I ave come across a lot of business / self-help book which only re-phrase the same stuff over and over again which I already talked about above.

“Imperial Handbook: A Commander’s Guide” By Daniel Wallace Review

The exciting next book in the bestselling Jedi/Sith/Bounty Hunter series has arrived! The Empire has taken hold of the galaxy, and high-ranking officials from each branch of the military have created an Imperial Handbook , compiling tactical guidelines and procedures as well as mission reports and classified documents for all newly ascending commanders. This comprehensive manual details secrets of Imperial battle tactics, acceptable actions for bringing swift justice to traitors, and the Emperor’s long-term plan for galactic military domination. After the Battle of Endor, this copy of the Imperial Handbook fell into the hands of the Rebel Alliance. Well-known rebels provide a humorous running counter-commentary to the official Imperial propaganda in the form of handwritten annotations in the margins of the pages.

I need to admit here that I wanted to read this book for a very long time and now that I have finally did that I gotta say that I’m very happy that I have read this book.

This book gives us behind the scenes information about how the Empire works which really made me love this book and give this book extra points for doing. Because I personally am a huge fan of the empire aspect of star wars and I find it to be very interesting.

I really liked the handwritten notes aspect of this book. Those handwritten notes comes from the OG star wars character giving this book so much more fun to it because those handwritten notes feels like you are a part of the star wars universe and can really see what those various OG characters thoughts about the various aspects of this book.

The quality of this book is very good, because it almost feels like it was a real in the universe handbook for the imperial staffers if you will. Because the paper in this book feels very high quality and the pictures which this book includes feels pretty realistic. At the same time this book feels pretty old like the rest of the books in the “Secrets of the Galaxy Guidebooks” book series which I started probably 2 years ago.

This book contains a lot of very interesting information about the imperial part of star wars which I didn’t know even thou I have loved star wars since I first saw the OG movies when I was 5 or 6 years old and consumed every movie / show / comic book / book taking place in the star wars universe every since then. This aspect of this book made me give this book extra points for doing.

At the same time this book talks about Stormtrooper, starfighter, starships, and a lot of other things about the empire which made me fall in love with this book harder than I already did.

I also never in a way realized that there was so much to empire in star wars before reading this book which really says a lot about me not knowing much about the behind the scenes empire stuff in star wars universe.

This book also contains a lot of numbers and statistics as if there is this big economical aspect to the empire which in a way makes it feel even more real and fun to learn about.

The writing in this book is very good, because it really seems like its a real book in the star wars universe. Which made me give this book a lot of extra points for doing.

“The Psychology of Money” By Morgan Housel Review

Doing well with money isn’t necessarily about what you know. It’s about how you behave. And behavior is hard to teach, even to really smart people. Money–investing, personal finance, and business decisions–is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together. In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money and teaches you how to make better sense of one of life’s most important topics.

I need to admit here that this book is one of the better business / finance books I have read so far in my life.

This book gives us a lot of good lessons and tips about how to use our money and not impulse buy stuff we don’t really need. At the same time this book gives us some lessons about investing in stocks, funds and bonds.

I feel like its important for me to mention that this book wont tell you how to become rich overnight because this book focuses more on building wealth the stable and longterm way like saving money from each paycheck or investing some of the money you have today or from each paycheck into stable investments like funds, bonds and companies which have somehow stable growth in their stocks. This book aims more towards using the resources we have today like getting paycheck from our jobs or even switching jobs if our current jobs makes us miserable.

But at the same time this book doesn’t only talk about wealth, it also talks about happiness and that with time our goals and happiness might change which is perfectly fine. And we shouldn’t keep the same goals we had as teenager when we are in our 30s just because we made a decision we are no longer happy with over a decade later.

This book has 20 goals which we can use in our own lives, but those 20 goals we do get in this book are very common sense and easy to do in our day-to-day life if we really put our minds to it. Which really shows how easy and simple approach this book has to actually growing our personal wealth and become “rich” which is very different from person to person.

This book makes a big point that “becoming rich” is very different from person to person. One person might think about being “rich” as having a mansion or multiple Ferraris or Lamborghinis, while the second person might think about being “rich” as owning their own apartment and having a decent car which gets them from point A to point B and didn’t cost much, and a third person might be somewhere in-between person one and person two. So this book makes a pretty big point about defining for ourselves how we define being “rich” as.

I gotta admit that this book is way better than the “Rich dad, Poor Dad” book by Robert Kiyosaki which I have made some negative opinions about after I have reviewed that book a few years ago. But back to the review of this book.

The writing style in this book is very good and easygoing. There author of this book uses simple and everyday language so that we who don’t have a bachelor in economics or finance can understand the things this book talks about and take as much as possible out off this book. Which made me like this book so much better, since over the time I have been writing reviews on this website I have come across some finance / business books which used very advanced languages which only people with bachelor in economics or finance would understand and I don’t have neither, so I have more of a dummy when it comes to terms and advanced concepts in economics and finance.
