“Be Drunk” By Charles Baudelaire Review

Yet again once more very boring and uninteresting poem.

However I need to give this poem that it had the potential to be a very good one in way if only it was presented to us in a different way.

The plot was interesting but the way it was told made it very uninteresting and also very boring.

The writing style here was pretty weak it might be just me who is very picky about what I liked and what I don’t like. But in my opinion it was pretty uninteresting.

I Give This Poem 1 / 5

“Unending Love” By Rabindranath Tagore Review

Here we go again with another boring prom which didn’t work for me.

The plot here was very boring and it has the typical poem plot about love which really is very boring in poems when the majority of poems are about love.

The writing style here was pretty weak it might be just me who is very picky about what I liked and what I don’t like. But in my opinion it was pretty uninteresting.

“May I Feel Said He” By E.E. Cummings Review

Yet again we are discussing another boring and uninteresting poem. On Goodreads the majority of the rates are very high which made my exceptions very high which this poem didn’t live up to.

The plot of this poem was very boring in a way but also it was in a way interesting so as you might expect my opinion is pretty mixed about the plot on this one.

The writing style here was pretty weak it might be just me who is very picky about what I liked and what I don’t like. But in my opinion it was pretty uninteresting.

“The Rime of the Ancient Mariner” By Samuel Taylor Coleridge Review

Another poem which didn’t work for me.

The writing style was amazing here but it sort of feel like it didn’t fit in with the plot of this poem.

The plot here was good but it didn’t work well with me because it would have been much better if it was a short story. But it didn’t fit for a poem.

I give this poem 1 / 5

“Fern Hill” By Dylan Thomas Review

Here is the green and carefree world of a boy who delights in the possibilities of each day, of a child who wrings from every moment a feeling as intensely magical as it is profoundly innocent.

Another poem which didn’t work well with me.

The writing style here was okay but nothing extraordinary and it didn’t fit in with the plot of this poem.

The plot of this pome wasn’t the best because it felt like the generic plot of every poem.

I give this poem 1 / 5

“King Lear” By William Shakespeare Review

The play tells us about families struggling between greed and cruelty, on the one hand, and support and consolation, on the other. Emotions are extreme, magnified to gigantic proportions. We also see old age portrayed in all its vulnerability, pride, and, perhaps, wisdom—one reason this most devastating of Shakespeare’s tragedies is also perhaps his most moving.

So this one was my first play or anything written by William Shakespeare. And I gotta be honest here and say that I wasn’t a fan of this one. I didn’t like it so much that I DNF-ed it at the end because I just couldn’t finish it.

The writing style was really old English which made it hard to understand for someone like me who have English as their third language.

I love the old English when it comes to horror tales but not when it comes to the plays but that’s just my opinion.

The plot but was overall good but it didn’t speak to me so this might explain the low rating and why I DNF-ed it at the end.

I give this play 1 / 5

“Pity this busy monster, manunkind” By E.E. Cummings Review

Yet again another boring poem which didn’t work well with me.

The plot was decent for the most part but it would be much better if it was a novel or even a short story rather than a poem.

The writing style was okay and the old English really made the mood in this poem stronger. But yet I felt like the writing style didn’t fit in with the plot of the poem.

I give this poem 1 / 5

“The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock” By T.S. Eliot Review

A great achievement of modernist literature, The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock takes the form of the complex musings of the titular Prufrock as he considers life and his role in it.

Oh boy another poem which didn’t work for me.

The plot here was okay for the most part but it had a lots of ups and downs in a way. And I just couldn’t connect with the story.

The writing style was okay but still the old English here didn’t fit in and I had a challenging time understanding the old English

I give this poem 1 / 5

“Passion” by Louise Bagshawe Review

A failed marriage between Melissa Elmett and Will Hyde did a lot of damage. She was too young, he was hurt when she left him. Years later, Melissa becomes the target for a kidnap plot, a consequence of her father’s ground-breaking energy-saving invention, and Will is the only man who can protect her. Now they’re on the run, thrown together again by the pursuit of vengeance, will their passion for each other reignite?

This book is so confusing because the chapters jump all over the timeline of the book. And there is nothing to indicate if there is past or present you just have to take the hints and determine if it is past or present. I have no problem with multiple timelines in a story, I love it when it is clear like in “IT” by Stephen King if it is past or present.

The beginning was okay for the most part but the moment when the main characters began to be chased around town by professional hitman who have been doing the job for years and for whatever reason that hitman just forgets everything which she learned and just starts to chase the main character around like Leatherface. At that point I just couldn’t read on because this book became so insufferable.

The characters here are okay for the most part. The male main character is okay but he acts like the stereotypical rich guy who is dating all the super models, drives the most expensive cars, live in the best apartment in New York City and just doesn’t give a shit about anyone else but himself. When it comes to the female main character is so confusing and child like. Because she dated the male main character in college and she left him and ever since she left him she is like “I wish that I didn’t leave him but I guess I’m gonna marry the guy who reminds me of my father just because I’m in my 30s and I want kids”. I really didn’t care about any of the characters in this book because they were so fucking unrelatable and they felt like cartoons which may created to make a parody a thriller book or movie. Think about all the stereotypical stupid decisions you can make while a hitman is after you and you will have the main female character.

The writing style was also like super boring and confusing. Because in one paragraph you will be at the female main character’s work while she is working and in the next at a dinner 2 weeks later. The writing in this book is on the level with grade school children who are learning how to write something which will stick together.

The twist in this book were so god damn obvious that you could predict them even before they have happened.

The plot here was bad as well, because it was just all over the place and I just could keep up with it.

I give this book 1 / 5

“The One Plus One” By Jojo Moyes Review

One single mum. With two jobs and two children, Jess Thomas does her best day after day. But it’s hard on your own. And sometimes you take risks you shouldn’t. Because you have to. One chaotic family Jess’s gifted, quirky daughter Tanzie is brilliant with numbers, but without a helping hand she’ll never get the chance to shine. And Nicky, Jess’s teenage stepson, can’t fight the bullies alone.

I gotta admit that I ended up DNF-ing this book because I just couldn’t do it. I couldn’t finish it.

This book is very, very slow in action . This book takes ages for even the smallest action to happen. Of course there were something happening here and there like the son being beaten up, the daughter getting into a school for gifted kids but the running theme was “we are poor so we can’t do anything”. It was so insufferable, and the mother in this book was like “oh, my husband left us but I can’t move on and I need to wait for him to come and help us because we are poor.” I hate people like this even fictional characters because life doesn’t stop when someone leaves you.

The characters in this book are so boring and unrelatable as it possible can be. You can pretty much summaries all of the characters with a single word. And all the characters in this book seems to not have a brain and not be able to make good decisions. The mother doesn’t have a licenses but still takes the kids for a road trip to Scotland like there won’t be any police on the roads or any other people on the roads. The guy which she falls in love with is a dick who is like “I want that girl to be gone so I’m gonna sabotage my own company and put myself into a federal investigations”. Every character in this book makes worse decisions than a 6 year old.

The plot here is pretty good, and it is the only good thing with this book. But the way the plot was presented to us is just the worst possible story telling. Even a high school student could have written this book better. The plot would be so much better if the author didn’t make it so god damn slow and boring. The author chooses to focus this book on everything else than the main topic in this book which really pissed me off. I need to admit that the plot was very predictable and super unbelievable because of the characters and the way it was written.

I was so disappointed with this book because a lots of people on the internet talks about this book like it is the best thing ever but its the opposite of it. And I really needed to force myself to read this book and when I came to page 320 I just couldn’t do it anymore.

The whole story lacks everything like depth, excitement, color and pretty much any sense of real life. And the whole story is so depressing because of the main character who is the mother who is trying to make the ends meet but don’t do anything about it and instead so keeps working in the same trashy jobs which gives her very little money.

The writing style is the worst writing I’ve seen so far. The writing goes on forever on things which aren’t mentioned on the next page, it’s like the story forgets about had happened in the previous chapter and on the previous page.

I give this book 1 / 5
