It stars C. Auguste Dupin, a detective from France. In the story, a letter goes missing and is being used to blackmail an unnamed woman.

This one is the third and last short story in the C. Auguste Dupin Series which is of course written by Edgar Allan Poe.

This one is sort of a crime story with gothic and dark vibes to it. But it isn’t fully a crime story which you probably imagine. 

For the most part it is a pretty simple and short crime story. The mystery in this short story is pretty much way too simple and more or less boring. 

This one isn’t neither very thrilling or engaging or interesting. 

This one is hard to pin down, because you either like it or not like it. 

The writing style was simple and at moments very boring which really disappointed me.

This one is a melancholy poem narrated by the ruler, Timur, as he unburdens himself at the end of his life to a priest. Timur recounts his happy childhood and the love that he enjoyed then, and expresses regret that he traded that love for the ambition that took him far from home and made him a great ruler.

This one was for the most part very weak and boring but it still had some good parts which made me give it 2 stars instead of 1 star. 

The writing style in this one was amazing as you can expect from Edgar Allan Poe.

The prose itself behind this one was awesome, it was dope and it had the gothic vibe to it.

This one is for sure a must read for anyone who calls themselves a “Edgar Allan Poe fan”.

The fact that Edgar Allan Poe was only 18 years old when this one was published gives this story some extra points because it like seeing the journey of the gothic king.

In this poem, the narrator looks twoards the sky and sees coldness, except one “Proud Evening Star” which has a “distant fire” which the other stars lack. The lyric poem was influenced by Thomas Moore’s “While Gazing on the Moon’s Light”.

This one is very short and very easy to understand. And for the most part it is an enjoyable read.

This poem had some good lines but the lines which didn’t go so well with me takes the cake here.

This poem needs to get points for the gothic master turning his eyes onto stars and writes a poem about stars.

The writing style was pretty much the worst part about this poem because there times where i felt like the lines where put together randomly.

This one focuses on the themes of marriage, love, loss and a desire for happiness. It also concentrates on the symbolism of a wedding ring as finality as well as the despair and hopelessness that comes with it.

This little poem is sort of a sweet poem about lost love and lost futures. 

I enjoyed this one quite a lot but this one wasn’t that good in the end. Which really leaves me conflicted. 

The writing style was pretty basic in this one, you will get the Edgar Allan Poe vibe to it but Edgar Allan Poe was able to do a much better work than this one.

In the end this one is a short and enjoyable read.

The speaker in the poem regrets his past mistakes which causes him to speak in a bitter tone. The poet indicates that although the speaker was unable to fulfill his dreams, he decided to forget about the past and cherish his future.

This poem needs to get points for its flow throughout the whole poem.

This one is sort of one of these poems which you will enjoy it every time you read it.

This poem is short and pretty sharp in its plot which makes this poem to even more fun thing to read. 

However the whole plot and backstory to this poem didn’t appeal to me. Which might be the reason why I rated this poem so poorly as I did. 

For the most part this little poem is quite descent and enjoyable.  Even though the writing style could be a little bit better.

This one describes a traveler’s experiences in an alternative world in which ghosts and ghouls haunt a cold and terrifying landscape. … It is ruled by a single, kingly spirit but contains many ghouls and dark angels. As the speaker moves through the landscape, nothing is as it should be.

This one was again pretty decent. It wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t good. 

Need to say that this one was sort of a descriptive and slightly eerie walk in the mind of Edgar Allan Poe.

This poem also needs to get points for its prose which is amazing. 

And the rich descriptions are just amazing.

This is a lyrical poem, written in the form of acrostic. Other than a poem, “A Valentine” is actually a riddle that Edgar Allan Poe made to reveal his secret lover.

This one is a poem meant for a secret lover that Edgar Allan Poe. 

I personally had really hard time connecting or even liking this story. And for the most part this poem didn’t appeal to me.

This poem felt like lines in this poem was thrown in together without any logical thinking behind it. 

But I need to give this poem points for being sort of mysterious in a way.

It was short and really easy to read.

The poem is a bridal song about a man who overcomes his sadness by marrying the beautiful Eulalie.

For the most part it was a decent poem from Edgar Allan Poe. However it is far from his best poems. 

I had sort of hard time with connecting with the story in this poem, and with the poem as a whole thing.

As someone who have read almost every poem and short story written by Edgar Allan Poe I need to say that I prefer much more when he writing about specific topics. 

In my opinion this poem didn’t have the gothic vibe which almost every poem and short story to Edgar Allan Poe has. Which really takes the wind out of this poem.

The writing style in this one was amazing let me just say that at the beginning. 

The whole story behind this poem was kind of boring and it took me awhile to even understand the whole story. 

The ending was good but the beginning was the opposite which is of course is bad.
