The narrative in this comic book centers around a covert government program that trains individuals with telepathic abilities to combat threats to national security. The premise is fresh and engaging, blending elements of science fiction with the thrill of spy drama. The creators of this comic book effectively sets the stage, introducing us as readers to a high-stakes world where thoughts are as dangerous as weapons.

The main character, Connor, is introduced as a promising recruit with latent telepathic skills. While his potential is evident, the issue doesn’t delve deeply enough into his character to fully engage me personally. His motivations and backstory are touched upon but not explored in depth, leaving room for further development in future issues.

The pacing of the narrative is another area where this comic book could improve on in my opinion. While the plot moves quickly to establish the world and its rules, it sometimes sacrifices character development and emotional depth for rapid exposition. This has made it difficult for me personally to form a strong connection with the characters and their struggles.

The artwork itself in this comic book is the highlight of this comic book, because it is providing detailed and dynamic visuals that enhance the storytelling. The illustrations that we get in this comic book effectively capture the tension and intrigue of the narrative, with clean lines and expressive character designs. In a way the artwork in this comic book has the ability to convey action and emotion through his art adds a layer of intensity to the story.

Despite its strengths, this comic book occasionally struggles with clarity. The rapid introduction of concepts and characters can be overwhelming, which has left me personally with more questions than answers. However, this also sets the stage for deeper exploration in subsequent comic books in this series, where the narrative can expand on its intriguing ideas.
