“Henry Vi Part III” By William Shakespeare Review

The third part of this play is the same as the first one and the second one, it is just as bad as the 2 previous once.

This one feels like an unfinished play which really annoyed me a lot because it really killed the entire play for me.

This play has the same problem as the first one which is that if you don’t know anything about British royal family back in the day then you we struggle throughout this entire play and it is be torture.

There are many good characters but they really didn’t made me like them or made me care for them. I appreciate very character in this play but to be fully honest here I didn’t care for me at all.

The writing style was pretty good, I’m still pretty fresh to William Shakespeare so I can’t compare it to some of his other works but it was good enough I assume.

For me personally it was pretty boring and it was too many of names to follow and it makes even harder that I’m not familiar with the British royal family from hundreds of years ago.

I Give This Play 1 / 5

“Cymbeline” By William Shakespeare Review

King Cymbeline rules over Britain under the protection of Rome. His kingdom must pay tribute. Cymbeline learns that his only daughter, Innogen, has secretly married his ward, Posthumus Leonatus, a man of low birth. Furious with the couple’s disobedience, Cymbeline decides to banish Posthumus from Britain.

The writing style here was typical William Shakespeare writing with the fun poetic language in it. Which to be honest must have been the best part about this play. Which really doesn’t do much for me personally because for me it is overused by William Shakespeare.

To be honest here the plot of this play is pretty generic William Shakespeare plot about love, battle and the huge tragedy at the end which of course is death.

The plot is almost the same as King Lear. It talks about the same things but this one is a little bit worse than King Lear was.

For me personally this play felt like an echo of some of his better works which really failed to accomplish what his better works had accomplish.

All of the characters in this play are pretty much the same person dressed as different people. All of the characters in this play are super annoying and boring which really made it impossible for me to like it.

I Give Play 1 / 5

“The Winter’s Tale” By William Shakespeare Review

The jealous King Leontes falsely accuse his wife Hermione of infidelity with his best friend, and she dies. Leontes exiles his newborn daughter Perdita, who is raised by shepherds for sixteen years and falls in love with the son of Leontes’ friend.

The plot in this play is pretty generic William Shakespeare plot about love, battle and the huge tragedy at the end which of course is death. This play has the same problem as the majority of the plays written by William Shakespeare which is that it is poorly presented to us. Which really sucks because it could really be very good.

The plot was so poorly done here that I ended up DNF-ing this play after reading something around 30% of it. The plot pretty much was very boring and uninteresting.

The writing style here was typical William Shakespeare writing with the fun poetic language in it. Which to be honest must have been the best part about this play.

The characters here were very uninteresting and boring but also at the same time very annoying. Most of the characters here felt like the same person dressed as different people. Which really made me hate this play even more because it was very confusing keeping track of who was who in this play.

I Give Play 1 / 5

“The Comedy of Errors” By William Shakespeare Review

Two sets of twins are separated at birth by a storm at sea: a pair of masters (both named Antipholus) and a pair of servants (both named Dromio). Years later, the Antipholus-and-Dromio pair raised in Syracuse happen to visit Ephesus, where the respective twins reside—providing the basis for ongoing incidents of mistaken identity, within a lively plot of quarrels, arrests, and a grand courtroom denouement.

Another decent play from no other than William Shakespeare. It was one of the best plays by William Shakespeare I’ve read so far but of course I still have to read the more popular plays written by William Shakespeare.

This play for the most part is enjoyable and well-crafted but still I personally felt like there was something missing here and I just couldn’t quite really get into it the way I wanted.

This play was really a quick read which really made me like it a little bit more in a way.

The writing style here was pretty good but it still felt really old and it wasn’t quite retable because it was written so long ago.

I Give This Play 3 / 5

“Titus Andronicus” By William Shakespeare Review

Subsequent generations have struggled with its bold confrontation of violence but in the 20th and 21st centuries the play has chimed with audiences again, perhaps because of its simultaneously shocking and playful approach to violent revenge and bodily mutilation.

This is another pretty okay play written by no other than William Shakespeare. Even thou I personally am not the biggest fans of plays in general.

The plot here was the same kind of gruesome play by William Shakespeare and you sort of can tell that was written him because we don’t get an happy ending here and the plot in general goes pretty dark.

Overall the plot in this play is a bloody mess. People who enjoy slasher movies will also enjoy this play because there is a lot happening.

The writing style here was typical William Shakespeare and you can really feel the old time vibe from reading it which really in my opinion adds to the entire plot.

This play also gave me the biggest Pulp fiction of the 1600s vibe which really enjoyed because I love Quentin Tarantino’s movies. And this sort of Pulp fiction vibe made me gives this play some extra points.

I Give This Sonnet 3 / 5

“King Richard The Third” By William Shakespeare Review

Jealous and crippled, Richard of Gloucester wants to be King of England and uses manipulation and deceit to achieve his goal. He murders his brothers, nephews, and any opposition to become King Richard III. In the end, Henry of Richmond raises an army, kills Richard in battle, and becomes King Henry VII.

Yet again another play which didn’t work for me but to be honest I am not the biggest fan of plays in general so it might be me and not this play.

For the most part this play was so boring and really I just couldn’t keep up with the characters of who was who because they just kept bleeding with each for me.

This play has the William Shakespeare’s wit and sarcasm but still I just couldn’t force myself to like this play.

The writing style here was pretty okay for the most part but I know that William Shakespeare was capable of much better work than what he did on this one.

Both the plot and all the characters in this play are very erratic and disappointing for me personally.

I Give This Sonnet 2 / 5

“Hamlet” By William Shakespeare Review

The ghost of the King of Denmark tells his son Hamlet to avenge his murder by killing the new king, Hamlet’s uncle. Hamlet feigns madness, contemplates life and death, and seeks revenge. His uncle, fearing for his life, also devises plots to kill Hamlet.

I personally think that this play was okay. I didn’t love it nor did I hate it. Im like in the middle on this one.

The plot here was very fun and interesting to read but there were some bad moments here and there which were super boring for me personally but for the most part the plot in this play was good.

The theme of this play is madness and revenge which I really loved. And the ghost situation here was also good.

The writing style here was okay for the most part. Even thou it was classic William Shakespeare writing style in this plot I still think that William Shakespeare could have done a better job on this one.

The characters here are meh to be honest. And I just didn’t care for them at all. But this play becomes better and better as it goes on because 90% of all characters here die which made me so happy.

I Give Play 3 / 5

“Julius Caesar” By William Shakespeare Review

Jealous conspirators convince Caesar’s friend Brutus to join their assassination plot against Caesar. To stop Caesar from gaining too much power, Brutus and the conspirators kill him on the Ides of March. Mark Antony drives the conspirators out of Rome and fights them in a battle.

To be fully honest this one gotta be my favourite William Shakespeare play I’ve read. Because this one has something which the rest lacks in my opinion.

All of the characters in this book are so good. Every line which the characters say in this play really shows their character. The characters are super realistic in this play which really it made me like this play even more in a way.

The plot of this play is amazing because I love plots about friends betraying each other.

The writing style in this play is also very good because it has something to it which I personally enjoyed a lot.

I Give Play 4 / 5

“The Tempest” By William Shakespeare Review

Prospero uses magic to conjure a storm and torment the survivors of a shipwreck, including the King of Naples and Prospero’s treacherous brother, Antonio. Prospero’s slave, Caliban, plots to rid himself of his master, but is thwarted by Prospero’s spirit-servant Ariel.

To be honest this play is another one which didn’t quite get into my taste.

I personally thought that this play was super boring and uninteresting to that point that I DNF-ed it around 50%.

The plot here is very generic William Shakespeare plot about love, battle and the final tragedy which of course is death. It would be fine if it was presented to us in a different way because I personally found it not in my taste.

The writing style was very William Shakespeare ish with the fun poetic language which I enjoyed the most about this play

I Give Play 1 / 5

“Henry VIII” By William Shakespeare Review

It is a story of a ruthless race to power and the desire for an heir. The Duke of Norfolk tells Buckingham of the meeting between Henry VIII and Francis I of France at the Field of the Cloth of Gold. On the instigation of Cardinal Wolsey, Buckingham is arrested for high treason.

This one was pretty typical play by William Shakespeare. Involving royalty, battle and drama.

The plot here is very typical William Shakespeare. There is not much good in it in my opinion but still it was somehow okay read even thou I wasn’t the biggest fan of it but it wasn’t bad neither.

The entire plot here is pretty much Henry VIII leaving his wife and the church for his lover named Anne Bullen. Which really made me uninterested in a way because its like the generic plot for William Shakespeare.

The writing style here is very typical William Shakespeare writing style. Which means that there is old English, old sayings there and you would know if you read any plans by plays by William Shakespeare.

I personally ended DNF-ing this play just because I became so uninterested and bored of this play that I just couldn’t keep on. But that’s on me because I don’t like plays.
