And in the ensuing investigation – which involves a wronged woman, a stolen hoard of Indian treasure, a wooden-legged ruffian, a helpful dog and a love affair – even the jaded Holmes is moved to exclaim, ‘Isn’t it gorgeous!’
This book I need to be honest here and say that it wasn’t as good as I wanted it to be.
The plot here is okay for the most part but I wish that it could have been better than it actually was. The plot here was enjoyable and interesting but in my opinion there was something missing in it.
The characters here are okay but when it comes to Sherlock Holmes and doctor Watson they are an amazing due and I loved they both because they have something in them which makes us relate to them.
The writing style here was okay but I think that sir Arthur Conan Doyle could have done better in this book.
